TCF Practice uses a small number of cookies and similar browser technologies to make the free learning platform work and to remember your choices.

• Preference cookies — remember settings such as your theme, font size, and interface language.
• Session cookies — maintain your active login session while you use the app.
• Security cookies — help protect your account and the service from abuse.

The app may also use browser local storage or session storage for drafts, exam progress, and temporary evaluation results on your device. This data stays in your browser unless you save it to your account (for example, essays in History).

You can disable or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you disable cookies, some features may stop working — for example, you may not be able to stay signed in or save preferences.

Disabling authentication cookies will prevent you from logging in toTCF Practice.

When you use AI evaluation, your essay is sent to the third-party AI provider you select. Those providers may set their own cookies if you visit their websites directly. Review their policies separately.
